Dawn L.
Hassell, Esq.
Ms. Hassell founded the law firm in
1999, specializing in personal injuries and accidents, employment
law, insurance claims and elder abuse and neglect cases. In
2007 she was nominated by opposing counsel as a
Northern California Super Lawyer. Leading the firm’s litigation practice, Ms.
Hassell has a 100% trial success rate. At 34, Ms. Hassell was
one of the youngest members to have been elected to the Board
of Directors for the San Francisco Trial Lawyer's Association,
and has continued to serve on that board since 2002. She has been nominated
for the 2008 Street Fighter Of The Year Award by the Consumer Attorneys of California. Also in 2008, Ms. Hassell was a nominee and finalist for
the prestigious San Francisco Trial Lawyer's Association's Civil
Justice Award for her work on behalf of a little boy & his family who lost their mother in a tragic car accident. She has lectured on bicycles and the
law at Stanford Law School, NASA Ames Research Center, Silicon Valley
Bicycle Coalition and Peninsula Bicycle Coalition. She has published several articles on
trials, an article on a difficult wrongful death case she resolved, and an article on
elder abuse. She is scheduled to lecture as a panelist on civil discovery in litigation for the Continuing Education of the Bar. She has moderated an MCLE panel on women owned law firms,
and spoken on numerous other panels for the Trial
Lawyer's Association. Prior to her career in law, she served as
business director and manager in the corporate sector. Ms. Hassell obtained her
Juris Doctorate degree from the prestigious University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
She is a Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude undergraduate, finishing in
the top 1% of her class, and majored in pre-law.

Richard P. Brown, Esq.
(Of Counsel)
Mr. Brown is a lawyer with the Hassell
Law Group and a member of the California Bar. A
graduate of the University of California, Hastings College of
the Law, Mr. Brown has been with the firm since 2003.
He assisted 4 clients in a Sonoma County trial in
2007 and obtained favorable judgments for them all. He
has also assisted Ms. Hassell in trials, with trial
preparation, post trial motions and has experience handling all
phases of litigation, including traditional and complex
personal injury cases. He is involved in
mediations, all aspects of claims investigations, and advocates for clients
in all aspects of litigation. |

Grace Ho, Esq.
Grace
is a lawyer
with
The Hassell Law Group and a member of the
California Bar. Grace did her undergraduate work at Yale University,
an Ivy League school. She then graduated from University of
San Francisco School of the Law. She
has been with the law firm since 2005. She assisted two clients in trials in 2007 in San Francisco
and in 2008 in Placer county and obtained favorable judgments in both cases. She has assisted
multiple clients in obtaining favorable judgments since then. Her primary role at the firm is working directly
with clients on their cases, dealing with insurance companies to resolve cases for clients,
working on cases in litigation, as well legal research and writing on liability and damages issues.
Ms. Ho is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin. |

Kathryn Tanner
Kathryn is a
graduate of University of California, Hastings
College of the Law. She has been with
the firm since January 2006. She will become an associate attorney with the law firm once she is admitted to the California Bar. She is currently pending
bar passage. She assists in every aspect of the law firm's practice, dealing with clients, dealing with insurance companies, researching legal issues, working on discovery and on cases involved in litigation.

Maple Lay is a
Law Student intern who currently attends University of California, Hastings College of the Law. She attended University of California at Berkeley as an undergraduate.
Maple assists the law firm's attorneys with every aspect of client matters.
Ms. Lay is fluent in Spanish.

Edward Ahn
Edward Ahn is a
Law Student intern who currently attends
University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
He attended the prestigious Brown University as an undergraduate, an Ivy
League school. Edward assists the law firm's attorneys with
every aspect of client matters.
Mr. Ahn is conversant in Korean.
